Today is 100 days of war. 100 days as the Ukrainian people, the Ukrainian army resist the attack of russia and defend our territory and freedom.

How do we hold up?

On September 17, 1787, delegates left the Constitutional Convention in the Independence Hall in Philadelphia.  As they exited, Benjamin Franklin was asked what kind of government do we have?  "A Republic," he replied, "if you can keep it."

While the UN World Food Programme will help hundreds of thousands of Venezuelans in need, one has to remember that a true economic recovery is only possible after a political transition to democracy is achieved in Venezuela.

“Democracies do not die on specific dates or when specific laws are passed in congress. Democracies die in a more subtle manner. They die gradually; not when certain politicians are elected, but when certain ideas permeate the public discourse of an entire country.”

Maduro's dictatorship has exhausted the democratic paths to resolve the crisis in Venezuela. The opposition has also exhausted the electoral and negotiation channels.
