Students For Liberty alumnus is appointed the next Vice-Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador

[Quito, Ecuador]

Students For Liberty today announced that their alumnus, Julio Clavijo, has been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador. Clavijo took office on May 26, 2021. 

He will be working closely with Minister Mae Montaño and the office of the President, Guillermo Lasso, on advancing entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.

The socialist government had destroyed the economy and destabilized society, leaving the nation in a complete socio-economic ruin which was compounded by the lack of individual freedoms. Given the worrying situation, not surprisingly, the Chilean economy was moribund and other Latin American countries such as Mexico, Venezuela, and Argentina easily surpassed their standard of human development.
