At Freedom Today Network, we want to share our condolences for the passing of the great Steven Horwitz, someone who we had the pleasure to meet, collaborate with, and consider a friend.
On Sunday morning, after a tireless fight against cancer, our friend Steven passed away. When we heard the news, we could not avoid feeling the emptiness and sorrow, feelings that are shared by everyone who met Steven and knew about his innate kindness.

In our region, the vast majority of people are still living in poverty, with most of them suffering from the lack of essential necessities, such as having energy, running water, and even a proper home. Students For Liberty today announced that their alumnus, Julio Clavijo, has been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador. Clavijo took office on May 26, 2021.
He will be working closely with Minister Mae Montaño and the office of the President, Guillermo Lasso, on advancing entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
