The unfortunate story of my friend, Pamela Adie who was turned back at the borders of Mozambique a few days ago isn’t new but reinforces the horrible and ridiculous travel situations for many Africans within the continent.

I want to wish all of you a happy new year. I hope that the end year brings you nothing but happiness and health.
In countries like Venezuela, corruption is more than a problem, is a system.
Today, the United Nations celebrates International Anti-Corruption Day, which seeks to highlight the “rights and responsibilities of everyone” in tackling corruption, including government officials, civil society, and the public.
Students For Liberty will host an annual festival to highlight the ideas of a free society in the areas of philosophy, economics, and law.

Students For Liberty today announced that their alumnus, Julio Clavijo, has been appointed as the new Vice Minister of Economic and Social Inclusion in Ecuador. Clavijo took office on May 26, 2021.
He will be working closely with Minister Mae Montaño and the office of the President, Guillermo Lasso, on advancing entrepreneurship and innovation in the country.
Becoming involved with Students For Liberty, first as a volunteer and later as a member of staff, has been one of the best decisions I have ever made. To say that my journey with Students For Liberty has been life-changing would be an understatement.

Crises are times in which the voice of liberty, our voice, is tested. Right now, we have to curtail some of our freedoms in order to avoid spreading a virus that moves as quickly as we are. We cannot forget that liberty has to come with responsibility if we want to make it viable and attractive.
Therefore, I am proud to see that our community and the liberty movement, in general, has stepped up and taken steps to start working remotely, to limit their interactions with people, and to implement best practices during these trying times.
